All photographs displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Andy Betts Photography, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Copyright is not transferred when you license an image; instead, you are granted specific rights of use under licence.
Which licence do I need?
Not sure which option applies? Use this quick guide:
Editorial Use Licence – Use this if the image is illustrating information (for example a blog post, article, news story, or educational content) and not promoting a product, service, or brand.
Commercial Use Licence – The most common choice for businesses. Select this if the image will be used on a website, social media, marketing materials, menus, brochures, or other promotional content.
Rights‑Managed Licence – For advertising campaigns, regional or national
exposure, long‑term use, or when exclusivity is required.
Royalty‑Free Licence – Flexible ongoing use across platforms where exclusivity
is not required.

Permitted Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, licensed images may:
- Be used only for the purpose detailed in the agreed licence
- Be resized or lightly cropped, provided the image is not misrepresented
- Be used only within the licensed duration and territory
Prohibited Use
Images may not be:
- Resold, redistributed, or sublicensed
- Used in logos, trademarks, or brand identities without permission
- Used in a defamatory, misleading, obscene, or illegal context
- Heavily altered or manipulated to misrepresent the subject
Fees, Bundles & Discounts
- Multi‑image licences may attract discounted rates
- Repeat clients and local Mansfield businesses may be eligible for preferential pricing
- Payment is required prior to image delivery or use unless otherwise agreed
Unauthorised Use
Unauthorised use of images may result in retrospective licensing fees and further action. We actively monitor image usage to protect our work.
